The Lay-up Production Technician at Innovative Circuits performs job tasks and duties that contribute to the manufacturing of rigid and flex printed circuit boards. Our technicians are assigned to follow a set of specific customer requirements designed by our engineering department in the production of circuit boards. The shift available is:

• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:30pm-Midnight

The starting pay is $21.00 per hour. Additional compensation may be available commensurate with experience. All positions are direct hire.

Most positions require training on the first shift for 3-6 weeks. There is occasional overtime on Saturdays paid at time and half after working 40 hours in a work week. Due to industry requirements no cell phones are allowed on our production floor.

Benefits eligibility is earned upon completion of two full calendar months of employment. The employee is eligible for our benefits package including medical (Blue Cross Blue Shield), dental, vision, paid time off, 401K, etc.

No prior circuit board shop experience is required. If you can follow directions, do basic math computations, work with attention to detail while maintaining a sense of urgency, speak and write English the company will provide training, guidance and support while you hone your skills in this specialized field and build your career.

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Communicate verbally, read and write using the English language to the degree necessary to perform the job
• Follow and comply to written instructions such as checklists and SOP’s

• Maintain a positive attitude, receptive to training and performance feedback with an ability to learn new things

Preferred Requirements
• Two years in the printed circuit board industry
• Minimum two years’ experience in process manufacturing with transferable skills similar to those used in the manufacture of circuit boards
• Practical understanding of Lean Principles
• Ability to read blueprints

We are seeking a Wet Laboratory Technician for our facility located at 1095 Windward Ridge Parkway, Alpharetta, GA 30005. The job schedule is Monday-Friday: 3:30pm-Midnight. This position will require training on our 1st shift, Monday-Friday: 7:15am-3:45pm. There will be occasional overtime on Saturdays. This job is direct hire with a 90-day probationary period. Due to industry requirements cell phones are restricted from use on our production floor.

The wage is $23 per hour or more commensurate with experience. Benefits eligibility is available after working two complete months of employment. We offer Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401K, etc.

The Wet Laboratory Technician will perform all lab analysis used in the wet process area, special tests and work with chemicals including hazardous waste using burettes, pipettes, pH/ion meters, atomic absorption spectrophotometer, laboratory balance, hydrometers, hull cells, CVS and other lab related equipment. Changing out rinse tanks when needed.

Responsibilities
• Complete detailed job tasks and duties with a sense of urgency while adhering to deadlines and quality requirements
• Follow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste
• Measuring, mixing and using chemicals
• Follow proper protocol for hazardous waste
• Make all chemical additions and bath make-ups
• Keep accurate and concise daily records of current baths on the production floor
• Complete required internal departmental documentation
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on lab equipment including chemical controllers and pumps
• Perform daily lab inventory and order chemicals and equipment when needed
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
• Assists with writing departmental instructions and procedures
• Work collaboratively and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
• Keep management informed of inadequate, required and exceptional outcomes
• Interact with vendors and visitors
• Take pride in a job well done with an emphasis on continuous improvement
• Use all required personal protective equipment and comply to safety guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum two years’ experience in a printed circuit board wet process manufacturing area or transferable skills similar to those used in the manufacture of circuit boards
• Experience working with chemicals and compounds and understanding the chemistry behind proper application for each and their limitations
• Experience using burettes, pipettes, pH/ion meters, hydrometers, atomic absorption spectrophotometer, laboratory balance, hull cells, CVS and other lab related equipment
• Proficient skills using inspection and measuring tools
• Follow and comply to written instructions such as checklists and SOP’s
• Experience with tracking inventory and replenishing supplies
• Team player keeping open lines of communication and collaborating with co-workers to a win-win conclusion
• Maintain a positive attitude, receptive to training and performance feedback with an ability to learn new things
• Withstand the rigors of standing, sitting, manual dexterity and lifting up to 25 pounds
